Innovation Field 2024

Intertangible was invited to actively participate in the Mizuho KPMG Innovation Field 2024, a collaborative conference consistently delivering timely and relevant content tailored to the prevailing technology trends.

We joined the 8th edition of this initiative produced by Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. and Azusa Audit Corporation February 16th at Roppongi Academy Hills. Our Managing Director Una Softic joined the panel along with Takuya Sakamoto (CEO, MOL Plus), Richard Lyle (VP, Intralink) and Jerry Yang (VP, HCVC) to share insights on addressing global startup ecosystem challenges and realizing a sustainable society.

Since its inception in the early 2010s, marked by the explosive proliferation of IT devices such as smartphones and the emergence of giant IT corporations, the world has undergone rapid transformations. In just a decade, advancements in AI technologies, including generative AI, are poised to bring further changes to our lives. The global pandemic and crises like conflicts have prompted a renewed focus on values such as sustainability and well-being. As we stand at the intersection of technological breakthroughs and societal challenges, Innovation Field 2024 is poised to explore the direction in which the world is heading.

Supporting the creation of innovation

Since FY2016, Mizuho Securities has held Innovation Field, an annual event to accelerate open innovation, build ecosystems and enhance collaboration among industry, the public sector and academia. Its 8th edition “Innovation Field 2024” washeld under the thematic pillars of “Next Big Thing,” “Deep Tech,” and “Startup Ecosystem”. The event offered excellent opportunities for sharing business ideas and active networking to a wide range of participants, including startups, large companies, and venture capital companies as well as government agencies and academic institutions.
